Why Microneedling Is the Secret to Glowing, Youthful Skin
Microneedling, also called collagen induction therapy, is one of the most versatile skin treatments available — and one of the few that improves texture, tone and firmness at the same time with minimal downtime.

How microneedling works
A sterile device creates thousands of controlled micro-channels in the skin. These tiny injuries are too small to damage the surface meaningfully, but they are enough to trigger your body's wound-healing cascade — which means new collagen and elastin production.
Over the weeks after treatment, that fresh collagen thickens the dermis, softens fine lines and smooths irregular texture. Because the result is your own tissue remodeling, it looks entirely natural.
What it treats
Microneedling is effective across a wide range of concerns, which is part of why it suits so many skin types.
- Fine lines and early wrinkles
- Acne scarring and uneven texture
- Enlarged-looking pores
- Dull tone and poor light reflection
- Stretch marks and crepey skin on the body
What the session feels like
A topical numbing cream is applied for about 20–30 minutes, so the treatment itself is comfortable — most clients describe a light vibrating or sandpaper sensation.
Afterwards your skin looks flushed, similar to a mild sunburn, for 24 to 48 hours. Makeup is usually fine after 24 hours, and a gentle cleanser plus a bland moisturizer is all your skin needs for the first two days.
How many treatments you need
Most people see the best results from a series of three to six sessions spaced four to six weeks apart, then maintenance once or twice a year.
Daily SPF is non-negotiable afterwards. New collagen is an investment, and unprotected sun exposure is the fastest way to undo it.
